Location: Buffalo, Wyoming | I live in Buffalo and love it!! You are going to drive 100 miles now matter where you live to get to most places unless you live in Cheyenne
Buffalo is kind of the banana belt of Wyoming we are mild compared to Sheridan and Gilette which are just 45 minutes away. Both Sheridan has a college with campuses in both Buffalo and Gillette. I could not tell you about High School rodeo as I grew up in Utah.
I have only been here for a year but love it! We have barrel races all the time in Gillette and you are only 2 hour drive from Casper and Billings where there are a bunch of barrel races. Most rodeos you are going to have to drive a little but if you live in Wyoming you get used to it. |

Location: Buffalo, Wyoming | I should also add we are only 2 1/2 hours from SD and they have a bunch of good rodeos and barrel races as well. |

Location: Texas! | I live in Laramie about two hours any direction will get you to a jackpot. If the roads allow. Weather sucks but close to cO for some really good barrel racing. If I lived anywhere by choice I'd be near Sheridan hands down! Beautiful views and weather is better than most other places. |

Location: Wyoming- where its always windy! | Agree with Buffalo. It's beautiful but it is pricey and it's a smaller town so finding a job might be rough. I live in Casper and the weather is pretty miserable here in the winter and not tons of barrel races here. But it is central so I can hit barrel races in almost any direction. Pinedale is also beautiful but farther away from lots of races. |

| I like Cody area, the Cody Nite Rodeo is fun in the summer, you can run there every night of the week June-August. |
