| Some people dont like hancocks. I personally think you have a nice prospect if you are starting with those names. |

| Can you post the allbreed? Just because it says Hancock on the papers doesn't necessarily mean that there is all that much in it. The Hancock lines are getting more and more diluted and people have kept the name Hancock when they register but often times there is actually very little in the horse. I love my Hancock, Blue Valentine, Booger Red, etc horses! Gentle giants! They are quick learners, show them once and they have it, they do not like to be jacked with! When they know their job they don't want to be picked on about it.

A Cool Sharp One

| I have had two Hancock horses and love them both! I agree with previous posts, they are "ride me, teach me, leave me alone" type horses! |

Location: The barn...where else? SW Missouri | My mother and I both recently purchased 4 year old half sisters with lots of Hancock and Blue Valentine blood. Both are super smart and willing to do whatever you ask and are riding awesome. Mine is a big gentle giant and whenever she sees me coming to the barn she greets me and wants her lovins. | I love them. They seem to mature a little later but I've always had good luck with them. And usually they are built like a brick house which I love. Sounds like a nice prospect |

  Roan Wonder
Location: SW MO | We have raised Hancock horses for years. We prefer the Red Man crosses Blue Valentine, John Red..... Our Rafter Blu stallion has 22 crosses to Joe Hanock in the first 10 generations. He has produced several nice performance horses. USTRC rope horses, barrel horses a couple of years ago a filly by him was the MO State timed event res champion. The ones we have had have been very eassy to work with, easy to break, never hard headed or broncy |

| A friend of mine had this horse http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/hatchs+hd+hancock probably the coolest and possibly most athletic horse I have ever been around. His foals were all just as nice. |
