I'm on my feet from the time i get up until the time i go to bed. I wear boots all most all day(except the 4hrs I go to work I wear flip flops) and by the end of the night my soles of my feet are killing me. And i don't mean i can go sit down for a minute and it goes away. My feet at night are literally sore to the touch. I used to wear Tony Lama, they were comfortable for short periods of time but not for all day. I'm currently wearing Justin's that have some kind of new sole/insides(not sure of the name) that they haven't been long come out with and there a bit better but still have sore feet. My daddy says it's because when I'm not wearing boots I wear flip flops nothing else either boots or flip flops. Any suggestions on boots? Nothing like ferrinies or corral boots!!! A plain simple everyday riding boot. Or even a insole that I can put in my boots.

No idea on boots, but Merrell shoes are what I used when I worked in the ER and was on my feet a lot. The difference between them and everything else was significant.

Few months ago I had to go to foot dr he told me to never wear flip flops for extended because they have no arch support in them. He said Justin or ariat boots were the best. He even said most tennis shoes are not as good as boots for women to wear.

Are you more flat footed, or do you have a high arch?

Either way I would look into inserts/orthotics.... and listen to daddy... get a shoe with support.. even Croc's are better than flops.... as they have support and will keep your feet alligned.   but a better option is a good shoe or boot that offers support on the sides.  harder soles are important... a shoe that does not flex.....you cant fold it in half offers better support than flops.  Ariats offer a better foot bed than most.. but I have not seen the new Justins.  Inserts/Orthotocs are helpful, but I didnt get improvement from them until my feet were so bad, a podiatrist had to make casts of my feet for custom orthotics.

I sure wish I would have worn better shoes when I was your age... Im paying for it, and have severed my plantar facia...

Walmart has Dr Scholls orthotics, and a machine you step onto that scans your feet then it tells you which orthotic you should buy.
