| I do on the backs. I did on the fronts for a bit after I sold my ventechs because I finally got tired of mounds of dirt getting in them. I have RES boots now for the front and have had zero dirt, love them.
Wrapping properly is a must. I reall struggle when I see poorly wrapped wraps with not jerking the person off their horse and making them redo it... |

Location: Idahome | I have been using wraps all around for the last few years and like them much better. I was getting tired of finding the right size and fit between different brands for different horses. With wraps I know they will fit and provide the support without getting dirt. They seem to last longer than boots and are cheaper to buy. My only downside is they do take longer to put on that boots. Just give yourself enough time. |

Location: IN | I've always been hard core on using my boots but I've seen many run with the wraps and they seem they would support. If you wrap right! Thankfully I was taught to wrap! I know people who can't wrap! And it's like what's the purpose of wrapping? Lol |

| I use SMB 2s, I know how to wrap correctly but I have SEEN a pick-up man's horse do a front flip because a polo came undone and it scared the crap out of me. IF I was going to use them, I would use tape along with the velcro to make sure they are secure. |

| I use polos on the back, my horse won't tolerate actual boots. I had someone teach me how to wrap them so I wasn't "that girl"...and I ALWAYS tape the velcro! |

Just a habit from wrapping the horses before they would go out on the race track, but I like the extra security. |

Location: North Dakota -> Colorado | I wrap all the way around when I have time! I love the close fit they prodice on my horses. I feel they support if they are put on properly. The only thing is that they take longer. I also ALWAYS tape the velcro. |

Location: ohio-in my own little world with pretty ponies :) | I use smb boots on the front and polos on the back and just use polos all around when just riding. I love the close fit and I feel they breathe better but I feel my boots have a little more protection. |

Location: Midwest | I have taken to using polos. I feel the boots are too hot. I will occasionaly use boots on the front and wrap the backs if I am stretched for time.
I have read studies that show that leg protection in general does not do much. However, it makes me feel better. lol |

Location: Somewhere between raising hell and Amazing Grace | I prefer polos BUT right now I'm using smb elites on my 1d horse because his biggest issue is he will kick himself. Not every run, but often enough that I wanted a little more protection from the concussion of him kicking himself. |

Location: Randolph, Utah | Sometimes I wrap but I bought a full set of iconoclast boots and I LOVE them! I do have 1 horse I have to wrap his hind legs, he fights boots.
Boot are much more convenient though. |

Location: North Dakota | I use Professional's Choice SMB 3 boots on all 4 legs. I feel they offer more physical protection than polo wraps do. Plus they are SO much easier to apply.
I've got a set of polo wraps and know how to apply them. Just prefer to use the sport boots. |

| I use Prof. Choice Elites on the front with bell boots and Polos on the back. My mare is impossible to keep back boots on, and we tape the velcro so that it stays down. I know how to properly wrap though, I hate seeing ill-wrapped polos. |

| Anyone know of a video to see proper polo wrapping procedure? I'm one of those that I think they are ok on, but was never taught, and I'm in the boonies on my own when it comes to learning new things like this. Thanks. |
