| How long did it take you to receive it for the date you placed order? Was told 6-8 week build time usually, but they are at mercy of the tree maker. This week is 8 weeks and they still haven't received the tree. Has anyone that needed a special tree run into this snag? I definitely not mad, as it's understandable. I just wish it would hurry! I've been waiting for a custom triple creek for 7 years now and the wait is killing me slowly! |

Location: Minnesota | I could write an eight page rant about the custom TC I ordered, but I won't get into it all. I will say it was ALL wrong when I got it, wrong tree, crappy quality, ect. ect. They quoted me 6-8 weeks, and it took 8 MONTHS to get it, only to have me return it to them because they "forgot" to paint half the tooling. And then it still ended up with the wrong tooling when I got it back 6 WEEKS later. I had an older used TC that I had that I LOVED so that drew me to order a custom one. Never again. Crappy customer service to boot and they wouldnt return the saddle because it was "custom". |

| Aw, crap! I hope it doesn't take 8 months! I ordered it well in advance so it would be broken in by June. :( I hope I get what I ordered! |

| Mine took the full 8 weeks I was quoted, but it was pretty basic as far as customization goes. Did that on purpose in case it didn't fit I didn't have a lot sunk in it...great plan since it didn't fit my horse. I find thir bar angles on the regular tree to be pretty narrow.. |

| I ordered mine end of Feb and got it mid April so it was right about 6-7 weeks. They were hard to get a hold of at times but overall it wasn't bad. I ordered a lot more "extras" with mine than a friend did, we both sent our checks at the same time and I ended up with mine 2 weeks before she got hers when I would have guessd it would have been the other way around with a more simple saddle getting done faster. Good luck with yours!. |

Location: Oklahoma | I have a custom one and I let a nice lady sit in mine at the Central 4D in OKC this past weekend..... bought mine in 2009 and it has been a great saddle. I've had zero issues with mine. I've become a rep for them too |

Location: Desert Land | I had a bad experience when I tried to order one. I don't remember exactly when it was...I'd have to look at my paypal account to see when I sent them my deposit...but it was a few years ago. This was when they would let you try the trees, tried one, picked out everything I wanted, put a deposit and was told 8-12 weeks. 4 months later and they still hadn't even started it. At 5 months I asked for my $$ back because that's getting ridiculous. The only good thing about my experience was they refunded my deposit. |

Location: Desert Land | I want to add that I realize it takes a lot of hours to make a saddle...but they should be realistic when quoting people a timeline on receiving their saddle or at least keep in contact when things are taking longer than expected. If they had done that with me instead of me having the call and hound them, I probably would've waited to get my saddle I ordered. |

| I've already paid in full, but I need it ASAP. Wondering if I should just forget about the special tree and have it built on a 15" with 4" cantle. I ordered 16" with 5" cantle so I would have a bit if room (also getting into Western Dressage with a friend). Is the 5" all that much more secure? Would it even be worth it time wise to switch? |

| I ordered mine around the beginning of November and got it right before Christmas. I went directly though Lynn and I am very happy with my saddle and i will order another one from them when I am looking to get another. I did not need a special tree but i was told before hand if i did it would add an extra 8 weeks onto my order. |

Location: W. Pa. | I custom ordered mine three years ago and it was finished in time quoted and was exactly what I ordered. I really like my saddle. I have the five inch cantle and it does keep you more secure.

I wouldn't change what you want just to make it easier on them. If that's what you want then you should stick to it. I understand the inconvenience in time but I think it would be worth it to have it how you want! IMO! I've never ordered a saddle though... |

Location: Up and over to the right | I ordered mine last July and it came out perfect and on time. I believe it came week 7. I called every few weeks to check in on it and Lynn always called back with an update - hide came in, conchos are on, etc. |

Location: W. Pa. | The saddle in my picture is a 16" with a 5" cantle but he did have the 16" tree in stock when I ordered mine. I would definetly stick to your original order. That inch makes a world of difference. My saddle is very comfortable.
