Location: Missouri | I love LOVE the orchids! You can get them at WalMart for $12.88 (I have several that are three or four years old and keep blooming). For cut flowers, alsternurium (no clue how to spell but sounds like that) are great - they last and come in a variety of colors. Plus, they look great in any mixed bouquet.
Gift idea - book a setting for a family or mother/daughter portrait and include a portrait. Maybe buy a nice frame and wrap up the gift certificate with the appointment card? I treasure the times I am able to get a pic of me with my kids anymore, since everyone is so busy. |

I thought about this but wasn't sure how it would stand up to being shipped in the heat. Because it's already 88 degrees and it's only 12:00. |

Location: Texas | I always do jewelry. This year I went to www.thevintagepearl.com and ordered a personalized necklace. It's three circles. The smallest says "grandma". The next one has all of her kids' names. And the outside one has the grandkids. They do have some premade stuff that's ready to ship. I hope they are as neat as they look. I ordered my own gift that has the infinity symbol with my boys' names on it. |

Location: ND--it snows, it floods, it snows, it floods | I just ordered my MIL some Shari's Berries. Her birthday was the end of April and I sent flowers then so I decided to do something different for Mother's Day. It was something like $45 for 1 dozen berries shipped to arrive on Friday so it wasn't too bad for pricing I thought. |

I couldn't either. I got a bunch of stuff with my order and it was only $35 shipped. |

Location: In the land of peanuts and cotton | What is a flower that I could get like in maybe a cute pot that can be replanted or just left in the pot that would com back. Something that's not too terribly easy to kill. |

Considering I've ordered other stuff over time that was a dissapointment I'm willing to spend a bit more for a proven product. No one that I've ever talked to has had a bad word so that's the route I went. |

haha no lol I'm the green thumb in the family. That's why I said something that's hard to kill. Because most likely it will "thirst" to death. With that being said maybe cut flowers are better because they will die anyway.

I just went to Walgreens and got this "Long Life Tulips" by bloomaker. comes in a cool clear vase and all u do is keep it watered past the roots and after they are done blooming you can plant them to enjoy them next year! |
