BOT Quick Wraps for torn tendon?

Long story short, this girl I board with has a horse who tore his deep digital flexor tendon. She raised him from birth and being I've been in the same boat with trying to rehab a beloved horse, I wanted to buy her something to possibly help him. Came across a good deal on quick wraps and was wondering if that would help him at all. Don't have much experience with BOT but have heard many good things. Info appreciated! Thanks!

BOT products are great. Anything that increases blood flow will speed healing. She might also look into Ice Vibe Boots.

i use BOTs onmy gelding that bowed aa tendon a couple years ago, he gets them for at least 2 hours before i ride, i can tell he moves out more freely and just feels stronger than before. I also ice his legs the old fashioned way afterwards, but dont use the ice-vibe, ive seen horses freak out at vibration so make sure the hores is comfortable with it befrore you try it.

I also am treating a DDFT injury. What does icing "the old fashioned way" mean? I am all about saving money

A friend had a horse with a similar injury. The leg was horribly swollen 4 months later. She tried the BOT wraps and within two weeks the swelling had gone down to almost normal. It was unbelievable!
