| Well, I went out to see what the weather was looking like and there was a darn copperhead at the big door of my garage. He is no longer with us as I hacked him up with a shovel. THIS IS THE FOURTH SNAKE I HAVE KILLED THIS YEAR. Two were copperheads and two were nonpoisonous somethings. My neighbor had a copperhead in her garage and had to call her brother in law to kill it. There have been two down at my front gate and I did not have anything to kill them with. They were not of the poisonous variety. I do not think I have killed four snakes since I have lived here for about 32 years, much less four in one year.
Watch out for snakes especially if you live in E TX. Seems they are going to be BAD this year. |

| I ALMOST stepped on a snake last night while in a hurry to get my horse in the barn before the storms, (that we never got) - THEN, it got in a hole and stuck straight up looking at me - YUCK, I HATE them! |

Location: Do I hear Banjos? | I think I got de-sensitized a bit to snakes from working with them at the clinic...so I am fine with leaving all of the non-poisonus ones alone here. But...I will happily, calmly hack to bits any copperheads or other venomous critters I see. We squashed a big fat copperhead on the county road this morning. |

Location: Blissfully happy Giants fan!!! | My husband confessed he has seen/killed two snakes on our property since we have been here and he never said anything. I hate snakes and I have a serious fear of finding one. I don't like hearing things like this. I wish I could bring my horse inside with me to stomp all around and make them go away... |

Location: Texas | I HATE snakes!!! If I see a snake I am on top of someone/something to get away from it!! We have seen 3 or 4 this yr. I stepped RIGHT next to a snake last week. I was going to break up a fight between 2 male cats and I looked down and it was coiled up. We cut him up. When I was riding Monday we rode up on 1 or 2 ( it was in the same spot so I don't know if it was the same snake) and there was a HUGE snake laying ( dead thankfully!) In my neighbors drive way |

ha ha ha ha,,, it came threw the back sliding glass doors I think , because we leave it open, it opens to my back porch and I let my cat go out there to use its potty box. So now I wont be leaving it open much anymore. Ratsnakes dont bother me at all, its the bads ones that worry me, thank goodness it was not a copper head or rattlesnake, their my biggest fear and have plenty of them. |
