Location: East Texas | What part of Texas are you located? You might also make an incident report with the local law enforcement. At this time it does not sound like anything criminal has occurred but he is getting close to breaking the stalking or harassment laws. You need a paper trail for this in case he takes it to far. |

| Restraining order. Stat.
Don't flush the whole state for one lunatic. Go wherever you can as soon as you can. |

And yes, you should be worried. I would remove myself from the situation as quickly as possible. Physical space and time are your friends in my experience. It sucks to have to turn your life upside down because of someone else, but staying is going to make it worse and the dude sounds unhinged. |

Location: Do I hear Banjos? | Get Out. Get a lease or live in a box under the freeway...but Get.Out.
Unfriend him...block his number...be gone ASAP.
He is irrational and capable of anything. I'd be out so fast it would break land speed records. And get the restraining order when you do. |

Location: South Georgia | There are crazy people in this world. He can be dangerous. You never know. Have you checked craigslist for rooms for rent? You need to move somewhere. I agree with you that the next door option may not be a good idea. But regardless, you need to move away from his house. Don't give up on the state. |

Location: Texas | Like others have said, you need to GET OUT. Contact your friend. See if you can move in early. Look for a rental. Some will let you break the lease if you buy a place.
If you're close to Stephenville, we have enough empty runs in our barn to house a horse or two till you found a place.
ETA - If you have a LQ, we even have a plug in and a fenced yard. Seriously, you need to get out ASAP. Not only get out, but report his behavior to your company because it is affecting your ability to do your job.

but i want to tell you a true story..... a BB not to long ago posted about her move to TX. young, pretty, out on her own, loving life in a new town/state. Started a job and all was good. posted often about how much she loved it. Then the posts came about unwanted advances by a co-worker, her boss acutally. She was advised to report him or get new employment. After staying and what i believe was her boss forcing himself on her she reported him and she was fired. She feared for her safetly and bless her momma who was on a fast track to TX to pack her up and get her home. We watched it unfold badly for her here. Please! Please! do not let this story be repeated and dont ever think it "cant happen to me".... it can happen to anyone. |

I remember this, she is doing well now from what I see her post. Please get out now. I would also report him to whom ever is in charge of sexual harassment at work, but not till after you have moved everything out. |

Yes, let us know what area you are in, maybe someone can help. I am in Louisiana but I know lots of people in Texas that may have a place for you and your horses.
Can you talk to your boss in private and let him know whats up? Sounds like you need a day off to move while your room mate is kept very busy at work. |
