Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR | Β Apparently, this went public on May 7, but I just read about it today. Β Lots of jokes about corn stalking us, but really, what in the world do they need weapons for? Β

Location: Oklahoma | I read a little about this last night. I think an even more strange question is why does the Social Security Administration need 174,000 rounds of hollow point bullets? I know there could be lots of jokes made there, but the Feds buying all this ammunition and guns is really, really worrisome! What are they preparing for and what do they know that we don't know? |

If you read the actual listing, they are soliciting bids for a contract to supply guns AND ammo. |

Location: In the Hills of Texas | I've thought for years that the government would like to take over all the farms and ranches. They haven't been able to take all of our guns so they need to be better armed then us. JMO |

I agree, and the scary thing is people have such faith in their government and are too busy living their busy lives that they don't even care to notice... not ALL people but the majority I know think government knows best and don't bother using their brains to second guess them....... the USDA and Monsanto need to get out of bed with each other as well......it is all connected. |

I honestly wonder if it will explode. No one seems to be joining forces against anything, everyone just complains. And then you have the other 1/2 that think the country sparkles. I've been waiting for someone to push the big red button for some time, because they are tired of the antics that are going on in our country. (outside of the US, not internal) Maybe they feel like if we implode, they won't have to waste a perfectly good bomb. |

I'm not real fond of Monsanto, but I kinda doubt this has anything to do with them. |

LOL. Rollingrfarm and I have a mutual friend who works for the USDA, basically hunting and trapping feral pigs and other critters. I've never seen him use nor heard him profess a need for a sub-machine gun. |
