With God all things are possible

| In Psalm 94:11-11 the psalmist raises one of the challenging questions of life: Where is God when things are bad? The fact of the matter is , there are going to be times when the arithmetic of life is not going to add up. The hardest things in life to stand are the things you don't understand. Life is not always going to make sense to you. But there is a great truth to remember; just because things do not make sense to you does not mean they do not make sense to God. Everything He allows in our lives fits perfectly in His plan, even when we don't understand the timing or the "why" of our circumstances.
In perplexities, when we cannot tell what to do. when we cannot understand what is going on around us is not hidden from Him.
Where is God when things are bad? He is on His throne, watching over those who are His. God knows what He is doing! When things are bad, He will work out the situation for His glory and for our good.
HAVE A VERY BLESSED MONDAY
FOR IT IS WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE
Father, guide me today to do all things to bring the glory and honor to You AMEN |

| Years ago when I worked at Marshall ISD (TX) the first time, someone put a piece of paper in everyone's box. It said
GOD IS GREATER THAN ANY PROBLEM I HAVE.
That paper has been has been on the SIDE of my refrigerator for 12 years now. It is on the SIDE because I see it every time I walk out the door. |

Location: Big Blue Skies | Check out Priscilla Shirer's Bible study One in a Million. Its about how only one in a million of the Israelitesmade it to the promised land. When we are in the wilderness is when God is there refining us and bringing us closer to him. Gold does not get refined in cold water it has to go through a hot fire. The longer a tea bag is in hot water the stronger it is. We develop our faith only through going through trials and trusting in God. The best part is when we do develop our faith and learn to lean on him through everything that is when we reach that glorious Promised Land. |

I get this......but what is going to be better than the love and companionship I had with my dog? A better dog?! I just don't understand death. I know it always has to happen, but what am I gaining by having a dog (or someone) die before their time? Any scripture you can recommend? |

I struggle with understanding this too. I personally believe we have free will to choose the path we take. I believe we have science and biology which causes cancer and disease. I don't believe God wants or needs us to struggle or suffer. I believe God and our faith is there to help us through difficult times. We learn from everything we experience. I don't believe it is Gods plan for children to suffer and be abused. |

That's a pretty good outlook/response. But they say God can heal the sick.....so it's confusing. I'm just trying to figure out what sign was sent when I had 2 dogs die in a 2 month period. The only thing I got out of it was: spay your pets, and have an emergency vet fund. I doubt God has my financial well being in mind. Sorry to be a Debby Downer but I thought LJ's scripture would answers frustration but it hasn't. No offense. |

I understand. My neice is fostering to adopt a 2 year old girl that experienced terrible abuse. Hopefully she will end up with my neice and her life will be full of love. I just can't except that it was God's plan for that little girl to experience the horror she did so she would end up with my neice. My plan would have been for her to have a happy life with her parents. |
