| Where can I exchange my Republican card? I think very very little of Mrs Clinton but even I am not buying this new campaign tactic of "She's got brain damage" "She's too old." "She's in terrible health."
C'mon.....COME ON ARE YOU FOLKS FOR REAL WITH THIS? Let's start off the campaigns immediately on the attack with weak at the knee claims. It won't help anything but HER.
Karl Rove...needs to get a job at the circus. Reibus same deal here. Them "Good Ol' boys" are destroying this party. Correction, destroyed. I think they work for the Democrats.

RF, One must remember that Karl Rove is representative of The Estashblishment Republican Faction of The GOP. He does not represent The Complete GOP! Karl Rove is about as Anti Tea Party as it gets. |

If I remember right, you don't have access to FOX news, you would be very impressed with Karl if you could watch his contributions.

Dems twisted his original comments into a total fairy tale. They're good at that.

Location: Bastrop, Texas | Rove is a sharp guy, as a political strategist, and I do enjoy his commentary, most of the time. Since he is not running for office, he is free to say whatever he wants, and sometimes I think there is more to his incendiary remarks than meets the eye. I didn't hear his original remarks in real time, but I have read about them and listened to commentary on them, so I can't say whether or not he was taken out of context. If he was, then I wouldn't be surprised. Even so, his bringing out "health concerns", regardless of the validity of those remarks, may well have planted a "seed" in some voter's mind that might make a few independent voters wonder about Hillary's health, age, etc... I think it was a stupid remark and it could backfire, but that just might have been his calculation. This will blow over. Both parties have their "mouthpieces" who do things like this, and they are insulated from consequences because they aren't running themselves. Really, as far as I'm concerned, it won't amount to a hill of beans by this time next year. |

Listen up. We will NEVER beat the Dems at the mud slinging because they have CONTROL of the media and Hollywood. Beat them fair and square with topics that matter or GO HOME.
Better yet, TEA needs its own political party...
Okay now I will run from the tomatoes being thrown at me by Scott and others that HATE the third party rants... Yeah, I know Scott...but have I mentioned how SICK I am of the Repukelicans? |

That's exactly what he was doing..........planting a seed. I know it looks like a jerk thing to say/do, but don't think for a minute if the shoe was on the other foot, Bill would be doing the same thing........sort of like the Monica story just now coming out so we can all feel bad for Hillary.........it's all crappy politics all the way around. I do like the Tea party.......seem more like they stand for something instead of politics as usual |

Why was it wrong to question her health..................is that standard procedure for any presidential candidate.......... And if I remember correctly how many times was McCain's health questioned and even Obama blamed some of his responses on his age........ |

I just said I am no longer a Republican, Riden. My problem has been that I have to accept the GOP candidate because there is no such thing as a "conservative Democrat" in this day and age. There used to be a number of them, but they are all extinct. "Conservative Democrat" when it comes to the NATIONAL political scene is an oxymoron. There aren't any. Consequently, while I no longer call myself a Republican, I have to vote for the lesser of two evils every 2 years. People like me almost all feel the same way, except for those 3.5 million Republicans who refused to vote in the last election because their candidate wasn't nominated. They all basically threw their lollipops in the dirt and stayed home.....so now we are stuck with people like Obozo. I didn't like McCain as a POTUS candidate either but I voted for him because I felt he was a far better choice than Obozo....even though Palin was his running mate. History tells us that third party candidates only spoil the election of one party or the other. Nobody has come close to winning a presidential election since TR. The closest anyone has come was Ross Perot back in '92 when he captured about 20% of the popuar vote. The vast majority of those Perot votes came out of the George HW Bush column. We'd better learn that lesson if we ever expect to win. It's one thing to have a strict set of core values, and sometimes quite another to be pragmatic. Right now, a "Tea Party" as a third party will simply render BOTH the Tea Party and the GOP impotent and hand over any election to the Democrats. The only hope we have is the pragmatic solution. A wise choice on the right candidate can, in theory at least, satisfy all the factions within the GOP. I hope the people who stayed home last time are tasting the bitter rewards of their tantrum, because they are getting what they asked for. |

| I want to apologize for the "Repukelican" statement. That is ugly. We don't need another cycle of name calling ugliness. Here's hoping this go around we all show more class and decorum than that.
This is my third election with you folks. I can't even believe how time flys. |
