Oh good I'm not alone on this fishing for wild and crazy river monsters. I love seeing what he pulls out of the rivers that he fishes on, really exciting stuff

Amen! I probably wouldn't like living back East either though...too many trees. I feel like something could jump out and eat me at any second lol...or maybe I'm just totally irrational.

I like watching it too, but it keeps me out of water... clear or not. Did you guys see the one where the bull shark was reportedly way up the Mississippi River, and that they don't mind fresh water too! Eeek. I love watching sharks and they fascinate the heck out of me, but have a huge fear of them. I won't swim in the ocean either.

I camp on the northern banks of Lake Superior all the time and now am chicken I will see some giant creature in the lake. You never know... its deep and dark. lol I have a crazy imagination.

Yup, if I ran into any one of the monsters posted on this thread or any one of these
http://internationalfishingnews.blogspot.ca/2013_03_01_archive.html
while camping I would likely have to buy a new pair of pants at the very least. It would probably be 10x's worse because of the excessive consumption of alcohol while camping....

We have rather large sturgeon around, I have heard people have seen them. Thank goodness I haven't.

I love River Monsters!  The episode with the anaconda really scared me!  I told my husband I am NEVER going into the Amazon River.
