I don't think I would've have gotten the saddle ON the horse much less taken a picture of it. She said this was the second one :-/

  1. How did they get the saddle on the horse without disturbing the snake?

Can someone resize the pic so we can see it.. It is way too small and when you open it to make it bigger, it gets really distorted.  Thanks!

And that is why I am milking the "I just had a c-section and can't lift anything heavy" for as long as I can... Hubby has been saddling my horse. If that is what I will find, I am going to continue to let him saddle my horse for as long as possible.

I think I would have some device to pick the saddle up by the horn and chunk it on the ground... screw the saddle and goodness for repair shops!

I hate snakes! When I was growing up, my brothers used to torment me with their pet snakes. Always in my face or turning a corner and they would be there. They just creep me out.

It doesn't make sense, you'd think you'd have felt the snake when you saddled, if it was there then. And wouldn't a horse freak if the snake crawled up them while they were tied up?
I'd freak if this happened to me!

My question is.......how would they get the saddle up on the horse....without touching it? Creepy.

That and the horn are how I sling my saddle up....gross

I'm curious if this wasn't set up and if I am correct I think the pictures says that there is 2 snakes curled up there. I seen it earlier on fb this morning. Still ain't no way for me!!! Staged or not!!

This is my pic! I posted it to my Facebook page on the 20th and somehow its gone viral! It's EVERYWHERE! I posted the video & description of how it happened to try answer everyone's questions but I can't keep up with it all. I only posted to warn my horse buddies of how bad the snakes are this year & tell them about my scary morning and now I'm getting accused of horse abuse or creating a hoax! That's what I get for trying to keep others safe :-/ This whole thing has gotten so out of hand! It's disheartening.. Please go see the original post and video the get the REAL story and 'proof' that apparently needs to be seen so people can get the facts straight & the truth can be known. Thank you..
