| I have a year old female cat who is spayed. Recently she has been going around the house like she is in heat and is bellowing nonstop and is so loud. any suggestions to get her to stop. Can the come in heat after they are spayed? |

Location: God's country...aka TEXAS | Actually my cat did this also and it is because he is diabetic. That is one of the signs that they show. So now he is on insulin shots and feels much better. (and no loud meowing!) |

| Well she was at the vet recently for a check up and everything came back normal before she starting all this noise. She normally is a quiet type of cat I am just going to wait it out because I agree that it must be the weather change. Until then I guess wine will be my friend |

I know lol.....this stuff follows me around like the plague.....the poor chihuahuas just sat up, frozen, wide eyed, not wanting to move a muscle because they thought the cat was about to go postal on them. I thought someone had broke into my home and mistakenly stabbed the cat instead of me with the way she was yelling.....lordy lol. |

You have a very lucky cat. I gave mine a box with a towel in the bottom, said see ya in the morning and did this all night. |

My whole body is hurting from laughing. I may have to have a replay of the stump story / safe sex story again. I think I need to laugh some more.

I'll tell you all the stories you need buddy to make you laugh :)
Turns out, even my cat is crazy. Normal cats would find a quiet, secluded place to hide and have their kittens.....not mine......I ended up putting her in a laundry basket with a little blanket and pillow......and, she's happy with that, as long as it's in the same room that I am in. If I leave a room, she starts grabbing kittens and bringing them to me. I thought I would be smart and close my bedroom door, but she just piled them up on the floor right outside the door. So, now, I have to carry the laundry basket of kittens with me around the house. I go to shower......yep, bring the laundry basket of kittens with me. Drink a few beers on the couch.....laundry basket of kittens right there with me lol..... |

ETA speaking of cats, did you know the world's oldest cat is 24 years old? I told my husband, and I watched his face go from mad to sad..... He said "You mean we could have this cat until I am in my 50s?"
