Location: Kansas | quick sob's......I have a granddaughter of MEO...and she can flat out fly in the pasture, even as a yearling. I wouldn't hesitate to own one....only downfall to them that I have noticed, they are quick to get Hot |

| Late to mature mentally. Alot of run not alot of brains. |

Mine could flat out fly and had more heart than any horse I have ever ridden. He is also physically tough. If he let you know something was wrong, he was really hurt. I wish I had another one. |

She can be a bit witchy when riding her but on the ground she's like a dog. She is so quick & loves to run. Go look up Bad N Fast. He is BADDD!! .... The good kinda bad. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6LPhT2g1Ho |

Location: In a happy place | I had one that tried to kill me in the trailer when unloading, on the ground...even when I was feeding him and when I was riding him. The others I tried weren't much better either. But I know some that have had good luck with them. |

He IS quirky, but crap oh dear is he talented. He's in training right now while I'm pregnant and is doing AWESOME with Brenda Mays. He's my Sheldon horse.... Like off of the Big Bang Theory.
I love him to pieces and would own ten more just like him. He's on allbreed.com under Eye Take Prayer. |

I'm so in love with mine!! I was tempted to buy that yearling colt by him out of a Leaving Memoties dtr, that was going around on fb, but I have no room & have 2 babies due next yr so I didn't :/ But everyone I talk to says they are very smart |

| Yeah Bad n Fast is awesome but he didn't start being that way till he was older. They don't make futurity horses. How many have you hear of 0 that have been big timers...seen some run as 4 year olds, can't stay there mentally. I think if you let them grow up and push them 6 or 7 year olds then you'll have a horse. I have had 2 own MEO myself and this is what I've found out. Never rode any grand git of him only direct son and daughter. |

Location: Winging It in KY | I agree with the need to mature. Late bloomers with body and mind. My gelding is a 2003 model, he was off last year because of a hoof injury and he grew taller and wider. He was 15.3 now he sticks 16.0 hands, go figure. First time I have ever had that happen with an older horse. As far as the barrel pattern, he is honest, turns on a dime and sometimes tries too hard. Always wants to please. Can get a bit hot around the pen and alley way. Otherwise, usually is good as gold. |

I had a son of Mr. Eye Opener - BEAUTIFUL (and a TEENY brain).
I had one- big, beautiful, and DUMB. But once he got it- it stuck. Just got him back near me (he always had a special spot in my heart) to a girl I am giving lessons to. He is her second horse and can carry her from playdays to rodeos. Big, quiet, lazy, but once he learned when he needed to run he can FLY!!!!!!
I am not much on studs- but MEO puts a mark on them- size, build, FAST!!! I haven't done a ton of research but at one point I hadn't found one that was under 100 SI that was on teh track. |

Mine was a rearer and since my mom worked with a gal in a wheelchair from a horse falling over backwards, that's one habit I won't put up with. Gosh, he was was a looker though. |

| MEO .....Like all of your top racing stallions when barrel racers first start running them they scare the bejesus out of them with their speed, hard turning and fast gathering from a barrel. .. Many times these top bred race bred horses are ruined by inexperienced barrel racers running them into the ground while they learn to ride a fast horse.
I have owned several MEO mares and they were all great big pussy cats that followed you around like a dawg ... lol
I found the perfect MEO with the famous Count Giacomo // Kitaman cross to breed to Dash For Perks and bought her from one of our BB's.
