Dry Area/ Saddle Fit

So I have a Performance Saddle Company barrel saddle
(they also make the H3s
) with a twist tree. It's like the Caldwell Rocket/Ultra Rocket. I rode with it twice and it lifts up a little in the back
(however it doesn't look like it's going down hill
) and it leaves a dry area of almost his whole shoulder back to mid back when his neck and chest are really sweaty. Basically the only wet is farther back where it lifts. I was really worried and positive it was resting on the center of my horse's back and putting a ton of pressure on the front. I wanted to be sure before I ordered the flat tree and that didn't work either so I had a reputable saddle fitter come out
(she is very knowledgeable and also does massage and such and was recommended by someone who only has the best of the best for their horses
) She put it on his back alone and with a couple different pads and seemed to think it fit great. There was no huge pressure on the front, it didn't tip forward or rest on the center of his back and she didn't at all see it making him sore.
I'm wondering if anyone might have any idea about that dry area?? She was going to ask her saddle maker what he thought but I wanted to see if y'all might have an answer.

I would agree with you and say you need flatter bars and maybe wider tree. If it pops up, it's putting too much pressure on middle of his back.

This is how it sits on him. It's the widest tree with an 8 inch gullet. The lifting is a little more prominent when he's walking and such. It looks well balanced sitting on his back there is no big pressure so I really can't figure out why if it's fitting well it's making the huge dry area. The saddle fitter said that she'd be worried about a flatter tree bridging and putting pressure on the front and back. I really wish that I lived anywhere near Caldwell or PSC so I could just try them both shapes on him!
