Location: ohio-in my own little world with pretty ponies :) | Who has it? How does it work? I've heard people say they use that instead of cable...trying to figure out what to get. Is there a way I can get it on my tv or does it have to be DVDs and on the computer?

Location: Texas | If you don't have a smart TV, you get a Roku from Best Buy and hook it up to your TV. It has a remote with it, so it's easy to use. If you don't want to do that, you can send the DVDs back and forth to Netflix. |

We have a wired Roku, not wireless. The hubb ordered it on Amazon. You have to have internet, but not wireless. We do still watch some cable TV, but mostly we watch Netflix. No commercials, and you can pause any time you need a break. |

Location: Florida.. | I have account and pay monthly and just watch on my computer I don't get anything in the mail and love it .my son has it to and watches it thru his game system on big TV . no no movies come in mail though. Its all thru account on computor .we sign in and choose what we want to watch free

| I got a DVD BluRay Player that allows me to watch netflix though my dumb tv. it is pretty nice but i couldn't do without cable. In my other room i use the wii to watch netflix also.
also We got google chromecast. So i can take my videos of my running off the ipad and throw them up to the tv and watch them on the big screen!! It is wonderful! and my hubby watches youtube with it :) it was like $30 and was money well spent! |

Location: Lost in the corn of Iowa. | I've had it for almost 3 yrs, that and hulu plus. I got rid of my satelite subscribtion and just use that. It cost $8/mo and you can watch most cable shows and movies when you want. I have a streaming box that uses my wireless internet and plugs into my TV. Once you subscribe you can watch in any smart device you have. I can watch it on my TV, phone, tablet or computer. And it is a direct debit so I don't have to worry about if I paid the bill or not. Hope this helps |

That is what sucks about Hulu...no CBS shows. But we don't hardly watch TV much anyway. Still beats $100+ a month that I was paying with Dish. |

Location: Washington | We have it on the computer. We haven't had cable/dish/direct TV in over 5 years. We started when it was the DVD's in the mail. Never had any problems that way. Lots of shows to watch, most movies seem to be the lower end, TV series are usually a season behind. They are getting better though, there are now Disney movies (We have two daughters). I think if you want the "newer" movies you have to do mail in or pay more? I'm not sure, we're outside more then in so we don't fork over the money.
I like the pause when you want, re-watch when you want and you can shut down and start where you left off hours, days, etc. later. |

| I think the younger you are, the more you enjoy it. We've had it a few years now, and I've watched one movie on it. my kids almost exclusivly watch it. We only allow television/netflix after supper, and never during the day. They prefer it to cable. |

Location: Nebraska | I have it on my computer. I can watch it on my phone, kindle or computer. If I want to watch it on the tv, I just plug my computer in and set my computer so it doesn't go to sleep. It works pretty good. We still have satellite but most of the time I use netflix. |

Im not a big tv person so if you are you might want cable or dish.lol. so you get movies in the mail from them? I guess I dont belong to that package.. glad I dont. I just get it right online. |

Location: That part of Texas | I had it for years -- both the DVD and ability to stream online. I gave it up last year because I got completely rid of Directv and found that most of the stuff that I could watch on Netflix I could get through Hulu Plus and Amazon on my Kindle tablet.
I don't think I've turned my tv on in about 2 months. I watch all of my shows on my Kindle tablet off of either Amazon Prime or Hulu. Amazon Prime has many of the ones that you can't get on Hulu and while you have to pay for some episodes, it's much less than a cable/satellite bill. Same with movies and stuff not on Netflix or Hulu.
Using my Kindle to watch stuff, I like being able to move from my bed, to the recliner, to the kitchen and even to go outside and run water in the yard without having to stop my shows. I just hold my Kindle in my hand and go from room to room. I fold laundry, clean the tub and practically anything else while I'm watching stuff because I don't always have time to just sit and watch tv. It's nice.

| I've had Netflix for about a year, I just do the dvd's in the mail. I don't have enough internet MB to stream or watch videos/movies. We have Dish satellite tv and wildblue internet since we live in a very rural area. I get a dvd in 2 days and it gets back to them in 2 days so its a good deal for us. I like it.  |

| It's ok but most of the movies are really old and not many big name movies. We've been really disappointed with the selection. There is however a great selection for kids. |
