The three on the left side of the fence are mine and the one on the right side is the neighbors. He has 5 untouched horses that his daughter "rescued" but hasn't done a thing with them. I let my three out into the big pasture last weekend and this mare hasn't left the fence line since. The other four could care less and have left her here. She folllows mine along the fence line all day and when they leave that area and go to the other side of the property she calls for them. I feel bad. You can tell this horse is never touched. I'm able to touch her nose now but can't pet her. She's real nervous of any human contact. Heres some pictures.

My husband would flip! I promised him I would only have as many horses as my trailer would hold and that's three...but I feel bad for this horse. She stands there all day.

I say you walk next door, inquire on the cute little mare (bring a halter and lead)... She's obviously wants to be in YOUR herd and they say that animals choose their human...

This horse won't even take hay from my hand yet. I can at least touch her now but I can tell she's very cautious of people.

I came home from work and she was standing out by the fence again. I went out and was brushing my three and I look over and she got her leg tangled in the barbed wire!! She did get her leg out but she sliced it up pretty good. She was holding her leg in the air so o knew she was hurt. I jumped in my truck and drove to the neighbors to tell them and apparently she is "very nasty" and will "knock you down if you turn your back to her". They said they would take care of her but I'm a bit worried.

Oh no, poor poor mare. Hope that they can do something for her, I bet they will have to tranquilize her to see how bad it is.

Its a older man and his wife who live there. These horses are his daughter's and she lives in ND. They wouldn't get her, he tried to get her to come in with grain but she wouldn't. I learned that she is also only 3 years old...
