boon Posts: 1	We always made our own. in a 1 gallon bottle mix: 2 cups apple cider vinegar, 1 cup Blue Dawn (blue works the best) the fill the remainder with water. We also fed our horses a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar at every feeding. People always wanted to know why our horses weren't stomping. The vinegar sweats out and is a natural deterrent to mosquitos, ticks and flies.

Member Posts: 26	Mine uses skin so soft, apple cider vinegar and equal parts (10-15 drops) citronella, eucalyptus and cedar wood oil. Too off with water. Seems to be working thus far. I got the oil mixture idea off of a commercial mix that worked well in the past for me when I was out of skin so soft,.
