| Isaiah 30:15 This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says I quietness and trust is your strength.
The early morning hours are ideal for a quiet time before the Lord. The morning is your chance to spend time with God before the world full awakens. To ready your heart and mind for a meaningful time of prayer; First, anticipate His presence. God is coming to see you, His ole desire to spend precious moments with you. Second, acknowledge that God is now present, sitting in the chair beside you, ready to listen to your petitions and give you advice and direction. Finally, acclimate your mind, body , and heart to receive and accept , His word and direction.
When your heart, mind, and body have been readied call upon the Holy Spirit to help you pray. Prayer is not just about you it is about your prayer being connected to transformer of the Holy Spirit . Now your prayer can be powerful. Find peace plug in to the Holy Spirit. Once you connect, the power of your prayers will be awesome, allowing you to be strengthened by the Pilot of your life as you pray for yourself, others and the world.
Once you've told Him everything that's on your mind make sure you spend time listening. Open your ears and heart to what God has to say. Prayer is personal and two way. God is ever ready to help us seek peace and quiet in this hectic world.
Once you've said "AMEN" , remain silent and listen, for God is also ready to speak and to guide you through this life. " I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go Psalm 32:8 Amid His presence you will receive His courage and strength to meet the day.
Dear Lord, sometimes life is so messy. Nothing has been going right. All I want to do is throw up my hands in frustration. But that is not of You, Lord. You are not God of disorder but God of peace. Help me Lord to be at peace now as I come to You in prayer. Help me rest in Your presence and gain Your strength to meet the challenges of the day. AMEN
