A horse/foal that is constantly in your pocket and never leaves you alone. Or one that minds it's own business and just does his thing? Would your opinion change if you had young children.

A women came to look at my colt today and was not impressed with him because he wasn't all over her. When she explained what she expected I kinda looked at her weird. She has 2 young kids and I would have thought you wanted a colt that wouldn't crowd just so he wouldn't accidentally run over a 2 year old or her 1 year old. He's friendly to people he knows and always greets me at the gate but I have always made sure they respected space.

I'd rather have one that's a little skittish than one that's in your pocket and crowding. 2 year old kids shouldn't be around young horses anyways.

Any one that has young kids should not be letting them be around such a young horse, anything can happen in an a flash

He was with us. Just not all over us. He came and said hi. We could pet him but then went off and did his thing. Just like he normally does.

I actually prefer a horse that is NOT in my face all the time. They tend to end up pushy and annoying IMO. I would much rather have one that does its own thing but has good manners about handling etc.

We sold a horse to a lady and she called a couple of months mad that the horse wouldn't dance with her out in pasture. Her old horse would dance with her. I guess it takes all types for the world to turn.
