Location: 31 lengths farms | I had it done on my two mares, my one mare we knew had kidney stones, her hair analysis came back Kidney, Immune and Lymph. Since starting the herbs, about 2 weeks into them she hasnt' passed blood in her urine again even after being exercised (which was our first indication that something was wrong...)
The other mare I had done, she has Head Shakers syndrome ,her's came back TMJ on the right side and kidney showed up also on hers. I had actually put all of my horses on the kidney herbs figuring they have all eaten basically the same diet so the fact her hair analysis came up with kidney showing didn't surprise me. I have not had to give her the RX med for headshakers since I started her on the herbs for joints either. Before I was having to give her the Cyrpo about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes before I wanted to ride. Not needing to do that now.
I sent mine to a woman at :
runninghranch.com but Sassy&Tessa gave me another place in TX that does it also, I've misplaced the name now however. |

Location: 31 lengths farms | Again, I sent mine to Kristen Holt at runninghranch.com, check out the website, has some more details about services she provides.
She had me take between a pencil and a pinky fingers (as far as thickness) amount of hair from the poll right between the ears and band it for her. She happens to live not too far away from me so I took it to her, but she has a service to send it to her and she runs the analysis and can make some recommendations for at least herbs that she feels would help as that is what she deals in. The other place in TX that was recommended I think was a vet clinic but for the life of me I cannot remember the name of it...Sassy& Tessa had given it to me.
This might be it...

It may help as a clue but I prefer to get CBC and chemistry panel done because it tells you what is going on at the moment in time. Just my opinion. |

| I use a lady in TX and have been very happy with the results. I did 2 horses the first time and was very impressed with the accuracy of what she found, and the things I was unable to see that she found turned out to be accurate as they showed great improvement once given the appropriate herbs. As for showing things only in the past, that's not exactly accurate. You can slip at t barrel race and notice your horse is off, take a hare sample right then and send it in to find exactly what was injured....I know its not for everyone, but there is a lot more to it than most people think. If at all curious I would recommend contacting someone who does it and get a full understanding of what it is and how it is done. I just sent off the samples on the rest of the barn (10 total) and I cannot wait to see the results on all of them. I find it highly interesting and anything I can treat/prevent/cure naturally I think is a great thing! The lady I use is named Heather, her company is Simply Equine in Tyler, TX |

Location: 31 lengths farms | I had really good results with putting mine on the herbs that were recommended for the issues that showed on their analysis. My mare went from peeing blood if she trotted across the field to being able to be ridden again. |

| Alright so bumping this old thread up but...I was going to send in the $25 to get hair analysied by Heather because I have heard such RAVE reviews but turns out, she doesn't do anything scientific...the lord speaks to her about the horses. Now don't get me wrong everyone is entitled to their beliefs and whatnot but I can't help but think that is false advertising?? Why doesn't she just come right out and say she's an animal communicator?
There are screenshots on FB I can grab from another gal who didn't know anything scientific was actually being done and quite a few other people are upset now too. I mean I'm not out any money but....thoughts? |

Location: Alberta, Canada | I use Heather and I also use a live blood cell analysis guy. Both have come up with the same results on more than one of my horses.... Heather's stuff has made a huge difference in my horses. Whatever she does, it works for me. So i'll continue doing it ;) |

I just saw that...
While I have zero problem with how she does what she does, I would have appreciated knowing that when she gave me my horse's results.
I never ordered any herbs bc I believe in science and just could NOT figure out how dead hair would give those type of results.
Again, I have no problem with how she gets her results, but why not advertise that??

Not trying to bash her, I just think it's very misleading that she wouldn't be completely honest. Even on the messages she was reluctant to admit she wasn't actually doing anything scientific. I really wanted to try it and I may still because I'm not against animal communicators but come on...
Even a visit to the website say's nothing about it and why do I need to cut a piece of hair and mail it if nothing is even being done? |

Absolutely. I get that. I wonder why she isn't being honest. Makes me a little sad because she is very good at whatever it is she does and she is a super nice lady! |

Location: Texas | I used it and have absolutly loved my results. We are all skeptical at the beginning and not sure if it will work for us. But if you don't try, you don't know. I had Loretta West with Equine Therapys work on my horse and do an analysis of his hair.. We started off on 4 and now down to 2. Each time it has been different. My chiropractor who only see's my horse once a year saw an improvement and my farrier has definatly seen a difference in his feet. I've seen a difference in performance and over all condition...She is also a dealer for Equine Natural Care that Kassidy Cruse and other girls on are. It's all natural...She is on facebook under Equine Therapys and you can check out testimonials on Equine Natural care too on facebook. |
