 Do y'all vet check all horses you plan on running (not hard, just to local JP's and maybe a couple of small local rodeos), even if the one you're looking at is under $4k?

I think this is relative to the person.

To some people $4k is nothing, if the horse doesn't pan out, ends up injured, whatever the case may be, they aren't going to be hurting for that money.

For others, $4k is a lot of money. Maybe they've been saving for a really long time and if something ends up being wrong with that horse they can't just turn around and spend $4k on another one at the drop of a hat.
