Anybody ever successfully cured/ treated/ got rid of a bone spur in a horse without surgery? I may just go ahead and have the surgery done but I won't be able to for a while so I want to try everything I can until then.

My mares bone spur is in her stifle.

I have her on THE MM w/ joint & arthritis, Pentosan twice a month and Adequan once a month. What else do you recommend?

Years ago I put one of mine on slh feet and bone and kidney and took X-rays 6 months later, and they were gone. Tried it on my current horse and it didn't help

i would definitely give Equibone a shot. If money is an issue, i would drop the MM and maybe one of the injections. You have the possibility to reduce her discomfort with Equibone and make a long term difference.
I had great success with Equibone. I have prior X-rays but not post X-rays. I did two rounds of Equibone on my mare and saw results in just 2 weeks. This mare had a bone spur hanging off of her navicular bone and I couldn't get her comfortable. She would have 1 good day in a week, this was with pads and shoeing. After 1 round of Equibone we pulled the pads on my mare and put her in square toes shoes. She was sound on any terrain and has a bad day after long days of playing in the pasture ( I would too with how hard she plays). I did a second round of Equibone to ensure her comfort. After 6 months of Equibone, and a few years later my mare has a bad day every once in a while. It certainly was worth the money for me and for an improvement in her quality of life.
Equibone has a 60 day money back guarantee! It's worth a shot.
