Some one told me they have been using glycerine, vet wrap, and twine as a tail wrap/bag. Has anyone done this before have you seen good results?

I have used a pair of panty hose, since it allows the hair to breathe and dry out if needed.  Some may be fine with long term use of Vet Wrap, but even though this does not appear to go over part of the tail bone I have seen tails develop mold and rot underneath Vet Wrap.

Here is one version . . .

My best guess is that it would act as a leave in conditioner for the hair and also moisturize the tail bone.  Only a guess on my part, though.
