My horse is most likely going to get an injection next week and I always struggle to get him to eat a little of the citrus stuff. He loves his platinum performance CJ apple flavor so I thought apple flavor bute powder might work better. |

Does that cover up the citrus flavor enough? |

US Patent # US 8,524,759 B2 is my patent and it covers all flavors of bute powder as a flavor carrier. I have said this a million times on here that 100% of all compounded bute powders it totally illegal and unethical sold by greedy vets. SUPERIORBUTE POWDER is currently off the market because there weren't enough ethical vets out there to make it go. Yes we had a very loyal bunch of vets but not enough of them. We are currently in negociations with a larger pharmaceutical company to buy us out. When SUPERIORBUTE POWDER comes back on the market, it will be even better than before.
Speaking of illegal bute powder products, the crimminal investigation of the FDA is meeting with me next week concerning illegal compounded bute powders. |

Guess I will just have to try apple juice or sauce. |

Just mix it with water in a 60 cc syringe with a hole cut in the top and squirt it down his throat, problem solved. |

You know, I've thought about doing that before but I wasn't sure how it would work.
He does take dewormer and other pastes VERY nicely. Supposed I could fill the syringe with apple sauce too as that would be runny enough to push through. |

I mix mine with a teaspoon of molasses and administer the syringe method. Works great:) |

I have a few questions for I dont know the story here at all. Apparently Doug has a company that sells flavor bute correct? and due to issues legally it isnt on the market? But I do know for a few years hes been having going thru legal steps and or getting it approved and on market ? he "paid" all the $$ to have it his patent correct so he has a right to be upset when others want to steal that correct ? Please correct me as I dont know and have been trying to figure it all out for awhile now. It seems it is expensive to patent something as your own.. I see when "tack designers " get all upset if someone copies their design.. and everyone on here stand behind them.... so why is it ok to do it to doug and his patent? Just curoius as I dont know..thanks |

Speaking of illegal bute powder products, the crimminal investigation of the FDA is meeting with me next week concerning illegal compounded bute powders. I am confused. If it is illegal, why are they being allowed to do it? And.. what is the difference between this situation and other Name Brand vs. Generic drugs?

Im sorry, Ive flipped by this several times but DJG, this rant makes you seem like a complete jerk. I realize you have put alot of time and effort into creating your patent and product but this rant doesnt help your credibility much. Please look at how this was written and then read the last line of the post... "FDA is meeting with YOU next week concerning illegal but powder."
Personally, I have alot of stuff compounded at a local pharmacy, I have never had an issue and I can see where a vet may just be trying to save their clients some money by getting it compounded for them. Just because ALL the vets didnt choose to use your product doesnt mean they are crooked or greedy it might mean they have a product they prefer because it might gotten good results from. |

Tried that. I bought 3 tubes to use and all 3 of them were so hard in the tube that I literally cannot squeeze it out. I have to use both hands to push and even then it really doesn't come out. Didn't work at ALL. I asked around after that and everyone said it is because of the brand and that's all we can get up here. |

NO, NO, I don't mean the paste I mean the liquid injectable, what you would use for IV. I almost always go IV but if I have a touchy horse for injections I will give it orally. Sorry, my post sounded confusing. |
