Well the girls are growing up so fast.....2 months old now they are just beginning to shed out their foal coat. Looks like the pictures are too big will fix that on the next message.

Do you own him? I have seen the owner's posts on the HGS forum. I liked following his story. He seems like a nice stud to be around.

Horse grooming supplies or something like that. I don't go on there much as many of the discussions are about English riding or pleasure type showing.

Yes she owns him. She also is one very strong woman who recently has gone through  some very rough chemo treatments and has a very good attitude and strong will.

I saw that! They were having a bit of a rough time it seemed. I hope she is feeling better these days. I enjoyed reading the story of all they went through with the horse as well. He seems like a very nice stallion. :

Yes we have been through a lot....but like anything else.....what we go through....we gain lessons from.......we have gone through a lot with this horse, from a difficult birth, to his training....which was a struggle to find a trainer who put my horses health above what he may earn in a race.....to me its more about the horse then the money. I know weird huh?

I love this boy and have to say of all the horses I own or have owned he is the BEST most wonderful horse I have ever had....yes he is drop dead gorgeous, he is fast, but his true beauty is his heart.....he gives everything to please you.....he has always faced every new experience like an opportunity to prove himself worthy of a pat or scratch....He is gelding sweet....yet under saddle or on the ground he is all work...you tell me what you want and I will do it!
God I love this horse.

Now I love him more....his foals seem the same way and all of them have Jasper stamped right on them....Love it!

Our two fillies are like little Jaspers I can not wait until his foals start under saddle. (so exciting)

As for our health....I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in Nov 2013 had experimental chemo before surgery then a double mastectomy then AC (chemo) for 2 months which was absolutely horrible.....now I am taking Taxol chemo for 12 weeks much easier chemo for me.

Hubby got diagnosed with bladder cancer a month after I was diagnosed....he get BCG flushes every 3 months.

It is at such times we see that it is no use worrying about things.....worrying just steals away your joy in life....so we take each day at a time as a cherished gift and we are so grateful for the support and caring of everyone around us some known others unknown....I am finding out that most everyone's life has been touched by cancer in some way or another...... thank you all for being there for someone with cancer....for your prayers, your support and little kindnesses that have helped someone with or caring for someone with cancer....thank you....what you do really does matter....thank you for caring for another person

I am sorry to hear you are going through a rough time. Be proud of your stallion though. He is beautiful and so are his offspring. :

Thank each one of you for your very kind sentiments it means so much.
We will prevail over this cancer I have faith in that!

Each day watching these foals brings me great joy......anything to focus on outside of cancer is good.

I am proud of jaspers accomplishments as a race horse and now as a stud horse. He is currently in training for barrels as well starting in August.

These Howelling Corona fillies acey (red dun)
And razzle (buckskin)
We're so much enjoying a pop up thunderstorm and play ensued afterward. Enjoy everyone!
