Most of our local dress codes are pretty relaxed:  don't dress like a skank.  Easy to follow until the heat index is 173 and exhibitions are at 3:00 pm.  In searching for a solution that doesn't involve removing wet jeans in public and running around in undies that don't cover crackage, it was suggested to just wear a bikini.

I'm thinking I'm too old now to qualify as a skank anyway, so this is a great idea, right?  Please say yes.

I wear cheap cotton grey chamo pants I found in the boys section of Walmart.  Very light weight fabric that breathes and is so much cooler than blue jeans.   I wear an SPF fishing shirt to compliment the out fit :).

Yes wear a bikini and video it. Then we can critique your run.
Remember, you've been dared.

The saying "that just chaps my hide" comes to mind. LOL... I imagine chafing and lots of it....and sunburns! 3:00pm for anything is just so darn hot. I know they can't get exhibitions and jackpots done if they don't start early. Catch 22. Maybe 2-a-days could be an option. LOL Morning exhibitions, evening jackpot. Just kidding! I know people don't want to be there waiting around all day. That would be torture for everyone involved as well. In a bikini a person is still going to get hot unless in the shade........... The sun will be cooking the skin. Don't know maybe just loose thin, light clothing and a big floppy sun hat. Maybe an umbrella hat! Ha Actually sometimes a loose, breathable, thin, light colored long sleeve shirt can be cooler than a short sleeve shirt because the shirt is like a shade for the body......breathable, thin, light, caps or hats provide a lot of shade for the body too and make you feel a lot cooler than the sun sizzling on your face and head.

You can get some types of breeches or English schooling pants in a boot cut now. They are made out of lighter breathable material than jeans. I just am not sure my butt will look pretty in them!

What, like this with the bonus of butt cheek exposure? Would that be a good way to acquire a sponsor?

cotton pants are always happening with me. Now that colored jeans are coming back into style I bet nobody would notice the difference anyway. I get mine from old navy.

We don't have a dress code for exhibitions.  People are always wearing shorts and tank tops for those.   They put on their jeans about 20 min before they run and carry their long sleeved collared shirt. They put the shirt on over the tank top and yank it back off as soon as they are done running.

I'm sure 9 out of 10 horses surveyed would strongly agree with that statement.
