Yes. Horses treated with antibiotics in the early stages of the infection usually recover rapidly and completely. Most horses who are treated in later stages of the disease also really respond  well to antibiotics, although some may have suffered long-term damage to the nervous system or joints.
 
You can also help your horse by supplement with a high quality immune system enhancer to help the horse stay healthy and help fight the disease.
