Would anyone who had a positive test on thier horse from this lab care to share thier numbers. Did you feel the treatment helped your horse and did you have to retreat with Orogin or another drug to get results.

Also, I have one that has an 8,4,8 and another that has a 2,8,4.  Would you treat with those numbers if they also had some minor unexplainable issues, loss of topline, body sore and moving "tight"?  I know Pathogenes pretty much says to treat all of them but my vet thinks the Dr. there is a quack, just wondering what everyones opinion is.  Thanks!

I have used Pathogenes EPM treatments for several years, and will continue to use. Why not spend the couple hundred and treat them? You can spend thousands on all the other products out there! I'm sure your vet prefers the $$$$ and for you to keep spending it with him/her...! Last time I bought Orogin it was $150

Tested in April, had Sag readings of 64 across all three and a high inflamation score as well.  Treated with  Orogin.  Re-tested about 6 weeks after and Sag has dropped to 2, 2, and 4.  Still have a high inflamation score, but also have some other issues going on.

Tested another horse too, and she had 8 on all three Sag.  Did not treat her.

I also treated one of my horses without testing - after the first one came back with a high postive I didn't want to take a chance on my good gelding.  I knew I needed him for a few things and just bit the bullet.

I think they are pretty good at Pathogenes, and I'm happy that there is new testing and treatment available.

Thanks for the replies!

I was just asking because vet thinks it will be a waste of time to treat her and hubby thinks she is a counterfeit POS.  I may treat her anyways, the worst that can happen is I waste $150 and have to listen to "I told you so".
