| This is just for laughs, lets keep it light hearted
What are some of your pet peeves to see on BHW adds? Mine personally include those really old ( in their mid 20s+) barrel horses that are being offered with the famous tag line "still has plenty more years left to give". Not that old horses cant compete, I just like to think at some point they earn their retirement.
Or "Im selling because I really need to thin down my herd, trades for same caliber horse considered" lol
Or how about "Started on the barrels, goes back to Dash for Cash...$30,000" maybe I exagerated a bit but you guys get what Im saying.
Lets hear yours

| Looking at the under $2500 horses and the private treaty and "$0" horses come up........if I'm looking under $2500 do you think I can afford your "priceless" expensive horses lol maybe there is a box I can check to narrow the results that I haven't found yet! Don't get my hopes up lol |

| When the ad says 1D/Rodeo caliber, and the video is 10 minutes of it trotting/loping circles.
Show me the best the horse can do! If it is a barely started prospect, I'm fine with seeing how well it can trot/lope/stop/back. If it is supposed to be finished, not so much. |

| My all time favorite is when people start a thread "what's my horse worth". And they basically list their add. They are trying to avoid having to pay for an add and still getting their horse exposed. |

I saw one of those on FB the other day...a girl wanted a horse that was started on barrels for high school rodeo but could only spend $2500. Then in the comments people were posting their horses that were just green broke, or had never seen a barrel pattern, because that's pretty much the best she's gonna get for that price.
Not gonna lie, when I was a teenager, I had no clue how much a good horse cost. Back then, I thought $2500 was an expensive price for a horse. I have definitely changed my mind since then :) |
