I've raised several.  Well, 5 and two of them became geldings, but I've found one in the neighbor's kill pen and I'm going to let Kinsey get him.  How do you tell age by teeth?  He doesn't exactly have papers............

So you are going to pick up an unpapered stallion, that you dont know the age of or why he is in the kill pen.  WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT???

To give the poor boy a home maybe out of the kindness of her heart?
This doesn't mean he is going to be a breeding stallion! A quick snip and he is an unpapered gelding.

Ditto, I'm a hound for old broodies with hard to find bloodlines. Most of the time they go really cheap. If hay wasn't so high here I'd be in big trouble!

Probably not in bad shape.  A rancher lost his lease and has to let them go.  They are using the saddle horses right now to gather the cattle.  I actually got two this week, have rehomed one already.

It's not a sale............the man I buy my hay from is a buyer.  He is also my neighbor.  Every time I go there, I get to see what has arrived.
