Any experiences with them?  I have found a set that I absolutely love, but want to know if it's good quality before I try to start tracking it down.

Pictures, too if you have them!

Odd man out here.  I was very doubtful about Alamo Tack quality, but ran across a deal to buy 11 saddles that had been sitting in a barn for a few years.  They were filthy but never used.   I was running an 84 head dude string and needed tack.  Well, surprise!  Those saddles held up so well that I bought a couple of pretty headstalls and I'm still amazed at how well all the tack held up to some seriously hard use.  I have no hesitation to use their tack.

I can see them holding up for a dude ranch/string.

I will keep saving my money... just had my eye on a set... but after looking at RDC I think I will save up and design something at the NFR.

I think I have mentally designed maybe 4-5 sets online (I always change my mind!)

I think I have mentally designed maybe 4-5 sets online (I always change my mind!), but I remember walking thru your booth at BBR finals and couldn't believe my eyes... so I'll just go to Vegas prepared to make up my mind and part with my money!!

I'm a distributor for them and don't set up at shows.

They sure put out an outstanding booth! I saw them at Reno many years ago and was in awe and became a distributor.

Would I be able to order from you once I see what I like in person?

Yes but once you find everything you want they will put everything together for you. Just go for it!
After the NFR RDC takes a vacation and it would be almost a month before I could get anything for you. They will help you and give you ideas etc. and after going through all of that they deserve to finish the deal.
I appreciate you thinking of me.

I won a trophy saddle a few years ago.. and I have to say it sucked big....  I felt the leather was inferior quality.... and not only was the seat too small for me to use I notice the stitching was inconsistant.
I didn't even keep it, but sold it asap.   For the entry fee money and the amount of rider's the producer pulls in I think they could afford a better brand of saddle.

Several years back I bought a youth horse show saddle for my nephew from Alamo. This was for horse showing -- in Lead Line and then he used it for Walk/Trot at breed shows. This saddle was super-nice and we were constantly asked where we got it. When he outgrew it we sold it for what we had paid for it. This little saddle looked just like a "big" saddle and was very well-made. I have no experience with barrel saddles or their tack, but after the positive experience with this saddle, I'd give their tack a try....
