So I am looking into getting a O-Ring combo, but looking only for the direct contact like a snaffle and not a gag action.
I am normally great with bits...but my brain doesn't want to work today. How would this bit function? Will it have a gag effect since it has a stop or no? Because it doesn't have a rein ring or curb...like I mentioned kind of a no brainer question..except for one whose brain doesn't want to work lol!

I picked a bit just like this up from a friend for free. Had a chin chain on it, so I kept it on there not knowing the difference. Loved the bit. Really helped me collect a flighty horse and also transition her from a hack to a normal bit.

Yes there will be some gag as it does not have a fixed mouth piece.
