My mare caught her long beautiful mane on barbwire fence..and ripped it all out :

Products to use to help stimulate growth? I was told an afro grow would help as well lol

ย Hoof supplements will help the name to grow back. Flax seed oil added to the diet is said to work, applying MTG can work in some horses- but it reeks and doesn't work in all horses lol... Plus it attracts dirt.

I have had great results with mtg... I put it on tail bone and down through whole tail to condition the first day, then braid and put in tailbag and just put it on the tailbone every other day... Re braid every 4th day and wash every two weeks. Got 1 inch a week, I am not kidding. I have also used mtg on mane and it works IF your horse isnt one that breaks it off from the bottom... You just massage it in on underside and topside of hairline but it does make a mess in the summer when they sweat. also had a friend have tons of mane growth feeding exceed and using cowboy magic every few days so not sure which one..

I've had success with feeding biomane to our horses... We have a gelding whos tail was above his hocks and would not grow longer -- within a couple months of feeding biomane it had grown about an inch below his hocks... then a mare chewed it off (sensitive subject with the bf, as it was his good rope horse).  You can check out their website at biomane.com
