Β Mac. I used BareMinerals primer and then Mac Foundation and right now Urban Decay setting spray and it stays on.
Does bare minerals come in a liquid? I've never used the powered foundation nod I've been wearing makeup over 10yrs. Not sure why I started with liquid but now it's because I have a lot of freckles and I completely cover them up and I don't know if powder would. |

Bare Minerals just came out with a liquid foundation, but I have not tried it yet. |

Location: Minnesota | Are you looking for eye make up or all over make up? I do not have complexion problems and Bare Minerals made me break out like no other and looked "cakey" when you sweat. I hated it. I used MAC foundation for awhile, swiched to a "tinted moisturizer" with a Marc Jacobs pressed powder and bronzer over it. Havent had any problems and it looks super natural. For eyes I LOVE my Smashbox full exposure cassett, I use Urban Decay primer under my eye make up and a gel liner by Bobbi Brown. Ive also used MAC eye shadows as well as Urban Decay, definitely like the UD over MAC as I think it stays way better, but I can put on my eye make up at 5am Mon morning and its still in place Tues night (yes Im lazy and dont take it off at night lol) |

Location: Texas | My daughter told me she read in one of those comparison articles in a magazine that Revlon colorstay whipped creme foundation is one of the best at a bargain price. I haven't tried it yet, but I plan to. It sure looks good on her, and it's $13.99. |

Location: Phoenix | I've been recently obsessed with makeup for 6 months now. I have dry-normal skin, for the record.
Right now I'm loving Smashbox Studio Skin 12 hour foundation, paired with Hourglass mineral veil primer. The primer is expensive, but worth it. It fills in my pores, has 15 SPF and makes my makeup LAST. The Smashbox stuff lasts in this AZ SUMMER heat; even after my workout it looks good. Most foundations lately have been separating and looking patchy--not this stuff. I apply it with a damp beauty blender. If you haven't discovered the beauty of the beauty blender--stop everything right now and go get one. I use the Real Techniques knock off ($10) and I like the results.
I've tried the Revlon Colorstay Whipped foundation--settled big time into every pore and crevice. Loreal True Match was too full coverage. Loreal True Match Lumi separated big time. Dior BB cream didn't impress me. The MAC Studio Sculpt was too dewy and patchy for my liking. I used MAC Studio Fix powder foundation for the longest time but definitely like this Smashbox stuff better. It's the only liquid foundation that works for me.
Bare Minerals does have a new serum foundation out....you can go to YouTube and watch reviews and first impressions of it. That's where my obsession started. I saw a tutorial for the Naked 3 palette and now many $$$$$ later I'm watching YouTube beauty gurus on the DAILY!!!! |

What is the beauty blender? Where do I get it?
I'm semi obsessed with make-up too. I have way more than I should but it's addictive. I could buy a nice saddle with all the dollars worth of make-up I have in my make-up case. 90% of my stuff is Merle Norman and the other 10% is Ulta. Merle Normans prices keep going up last liquid foundation I bought was $42. I can't keep doing that as much as I use and I don't like Ulta make-up except there eyeliner. Ulta eye shadow is HORRIBLE I just use it because it was given to me but once it's gone I will not be getting more. I haven't tried Mac because there's no where around here to get it I don't think but I've heard a lot of good reviews but some bad ones too. |
