Location: North MS | Last year my vet was supposed to put me on a list when she received a shipment of trihist. Needless to say somehow I was overlooked and now need them for my mare who was doing awesome until she got into the wrong pasture last week thanks to a donkey based fence failure. I called the vet today to see what was up and expect a call back tomorrow. So far if she doesn't have any- I have found that smartpak possibly has them and was wanting a backup location if I could find one. Anybody know a source? Mare has an allergy based heaves episode I am 99% sure. This happened earlier in the year last year on a pasture I did not get sprayed for weeds. This year I sprayed and she was fine until she went into a non-sprayed pasture for 3 days. I plan on moving her from my parents to my house and hope the same plants aren't there. She is on full pasture on only got back on feed to get supplements for her breathing this week. This is a sentimental pasture ornament around 21 years old. Currently on Smart breathe, MSM, and ani-hist. Dex will be coming soon! She was doing so great- |

Yeah I just noticed that. I can remember buying it for a heavy horse sans script back in the day. |

Location: Central Okla. | I use Tri-hist for horses with allergy issues. It works great. But yes, it's script now and you can't order it online without a script. It's also a controlled dangerous substance thanks to the meth heads. We just searched for a bottle last week and at most palces it is out of stock. Call every vet within 50 miles of you and see if one has some in stock. Most don't keep it on hand around here. Valley vet said they are backordered till september. |

| Dang, I knew they were having problems keeping it in stock last fall, but I didn't know they still were. My mare does great on it. No wonder my vet asked me if they just wanted me to make sure there was a jar on the shelf for me all the time. |

Location: At the barn | Tri hist is here to get now because the meth heads figured out it was full of pseudophedrine. Just one more thing that druggies have cause me trouble because I can't readily get what I need at the barn! |

| Tri Hist is backordered (I work for a vet and do all of the ordering) it has pseudoephedrine in it which is why there are all of the problems in the manufacturing because people can make meth out of it, so it is much more controlled now then it used to be, hence the reason for a prescription.
ETA: Sorry did not read all the comments and I realize people already said this! Our supplier does not know when they will be able to get it again :(
