Was wondering who feeds it with good or bad results. Do you feed it to your easy or hard keepers?

Its great for easy keepers. I fed it for a while with great results. I only stopped because I went with forage only and Platinum Performance. Reason being my horse is a choker and I got sick of wetting it down. Its a great feed though.

I feed it to both of my geldings and love it. I switched from the Strategy GX to the Healthy Edge about 3 years ago now and have loved the results. They are both fairly easy keepers and they do not seem to get as hot on the Healthy Edge as they did on the GX. I switched to the Healthy Edge because I was no longer competing as hard as I was when I was in college. I soak it at every feeding, which is just a personal preference, mine did fine with the pellets when I didn't soak it. I just like to get that little bit of extra water in them because I'm a worrier about water consumption. I love the Amplify pellet in it too. The only thing I add to it is loose salt and apple cider vinegar. Both of my boys are happy, healthy and super shiny, so no complaints here!

I feed it with great results.  I have ones of all ages on it and they all are looking great and feeling great. I prefer it over regular Strategy. I love the amplify nugget in it. That sucker packs a punch.

I was curious as to how it would work on my hard keepers along with their soaked beet pulp. Seems like everyone is liking it :) good to know !

I fed it after researching feeds when it first came out. It was comparable to Ultium at a lesser cost. I fed it with great results until the feed price rose to a dollar under the Ultium price and thats when i decided id pay the $1 more for the ultium. I really did like the feed but it wasnt worth the price my feed store got to.

I love it and my horse is much more of a hard keeper. He couldn't be fat, I just don't think it's possible! Like any feed you have to look at the ingredients before you mix in any "extras". Healthy Edge has alot of stuff in it and all I add is flaxseed & alfalfa. This is my pretty boy

I feed it to all of mine. The hay here is moldy most of the time and very little to none as far as nutrients. It has kept the weight on my horses. I just mix it with beet pulp.

i used to feed it to my 18 year old mare and she did great! its helped her keep weight on and not get ribby like alot of other feeds and it made her coat and eyes look great! but one bad part...it did make her a little more sweaty time to time! overall its a great feed! the only reason i stopped using it is because the feed store that sold it was kinda pricey and didnt haave the money!

How much do ya'll pay for Ultium in your neck of the woods? Its 30 a bag here. I'd love to find a feed comparable for a lesser price. I'm getting so frustrated with the raising cost of feed.

It seems like we only have two options feed the cheap crap with corn and molasses and have a shiny horse full of ulcers that stocks up or feed good feed and not have enough money to go up and down the road :( *throws sucker in dirt*

Lol this is why I'm trying to cheapin up but not feed complete junk! Ultium is 23.95 a bag here .. Healthy edge is 17.10.. So I could save alot of money & be able to afford to use them ! Everyone seems to have good results with it ! So I think it's a done deal for my herd :)

Ultium was (this was a few years ago)  about 28.00 ( its now about $30 a bag ) and healthy edge had come out and was 13.99! Heck yes im going to switch! well a few weeks later it was 14.99 then jumped to 17.99 then 21 and this is where i quit. It then jumped again to 24.00 a bag.. This particular feed store is about 4x the price anything should be because of the greed.
