We lost a colleague last week due to a horse accident. No one is sure exactly what happened, but they think the horse kicked her in the chest. Please be alert.

Wearing a helmet is a choice, but it is a choice that might save your life. Well to be fair...the article doesn't state wether or not she was wearing a helmet and I dont want to assume either way. I just found it to be sad...particularly that she was with her dad...and I noticed it said she was a barrel racer.
