Jeeze.  Anyone else notice that "stuff" is heating up between both sides already?  I mean, we've quit slinging the mud and have gone straight to the road apples.
Have you seen the banners on FB?  Both sides are posting blatant lies about the other.  I seen a banner with a quote from the Daily Kos and the Onion.  When I explain political satire I get my butt handed to me.
My twitter account in the last few days has been swarmed by ticked off lovely Democrats accusing me and mine of destroying the world.
I haven't even seen who's in the starting gate.  Leave me be....LOL.

2015 is going to bring out the worst in people as we finally replace Obama.
   I'm putting on my armor.

We had our primary elections here in Missouri yesterday.  On the ballot were a few amendments that were pretty controversial - Amendment 1 "Keep Missouri Farming" protects the rights of Missouri farmers and ranchers, and Amendment 5, the right to keep and bear arms, ammunition and accessories.   Both passed, but amendment 1 passed by only 2500 votes.   I have seen more comments about "ignorant hicks from the country not understanding what they are voting for" and "we should only allow educated city people to vote."  It's sickening to see people's views of others.

Seriously?  I could reasonably argue the other way, that only country folks with common sense should vote on this stuff.  LOL  I saw some of the propaganda against the right to farm amendment.  Most of it trying to scare people by invoking Monsanto.  I don't understand this belief that farmers are dumb and uneducated...have these people visited a farm lately?

The Humane Society of the United States put a lot of money into fighting that "Keep Missouri Farming" legislation.  To the tune of over $400,000.  That would have saved a lot of puppies/kittens in the shelters.  (But we all know they DO NOT operate or give much of any money at all to the local shelters).  Instead they are furthering their own Vegan CEO's agenda to end farming/ranching/hunting and basically anything else related to animals.  That's a Washington DC lobbying group sticking it's nose and dollars into a state election.  I am THRILLED that the measure passed.

Well their marketing definitely worked.  I was starting to think that if I heard one more thing about how it was only good for Monsanto, China and puppy mills, I was going to smack someone.

I have been politely taken aside by a lovely BB here that I need to keep my political opinion and my author's page seperate.  She's right of course, but then I see something so terribly misleading and I'm biting my tongue till it bleeds.   LOL

Look, lets face it.  These politicans no matter their party, are willing to stand up and bold face lie to influence the vote.

Did you all catch Gail King?  "until these illegals break the law, let's leave them alone."  HUH? WHAT?  *SMH*

Silly me, I thought the definition of an illegal immigrant was someone who broke the law by coming/staying here outside the legal channels.

I have often wondered what part of "illegal"  some people don't understand.  They already broke the law by coming here.

No, no. Not THAT law (you silly goose) - another law, like: rape, murder, burglary, auto theft, kidnapping, etc.

Have you noticed, they are no longer referring to illegal immigrants as "immigrants", they are now "migrants". Um, no.

Did you see the incredibly sad story of the Border Patrol agent killed Monday.  He was off duty and fishing with his family.  Two illegals trying to rob the family murdered him.  They had been deported multiple times but just came right back.  It's what happens when your borders are wide open.

Maybe border states are going about this all wrong.  Instead of using our hard earned state dollars to fund trying to keep them out;  we should be broadcasting and showing film footage of the problem.  I'm tellin you...however bad you think it might be and you live up north...you need to see it first hand.

Its not a racial thing at all.  Its a saftey issue and an economic issue.  It's a water issue and and a health issue.   They want to make it about humanity, they want to throw in my face that we are all immigrants.  Yet these are the same people that want us to embrace change.  Well folks,  things have certainly changed since the time our fore fathers rode over on boats.  The country wasn't about to face economic collapse and didn't have a debt that we won't see balanced in our life time.  CHANGED.  We can't take them in anymore.  At some point the seats are all filled and these people need to fix their own backyards.

Like I said.  It's going to get so ugly you won't recognize this country.

I'm heartbroken about everything that is happening in our country. From the left's attack on rural America, traditional family values, constitutional rights, and the broken education system, the illegal immigration crisis, etc. I am ashamed that there are so many stupid, ignorant, lazy Americans that choose not to be informed about the TRUTH and keep electing liberals and weak, spineless republicans and making terrible decisions that will hurt every person in America, including themselves.

Interesting that the 1000-plus immigrant children at Ft. Sill, OK have reduced to 100-plus.  The Governor, because of the secrecy, didn't know they were coming and doesn't know where they went.  Feds appear to be putting children into the hands of God-only-knows-who.  We're a compassionate nation alright.
