Why is your horse's back sore? You've got to determine and  treat the root cause of the sore back. Does the horse have sore hocks, sore feet, sore stifles?  I don't believe anything will help until you address the primary cause. If its just sore muscles from exercise, etc then yes I believe the BOT would work great for it.

I have a 3 yo gelding who's hard to saddle. He wiggles all around to avoid the pad and saddle, snorts, etc. He rides off fine once I get his gear on, but saddling is a pain. I use this gear on other horses without complaint, so had him checked. Chiropractor said he was sore-backed and suggested that he might be getting sore because he's young, growing, and being ridden pretty hard. She adjusted him and the problem was solved for about 6 weeks then he started up again. Bought him a BOT saddle pad and he's been perfect ever since. Love my BOT saddle pad!

I agree that you need to know the cause of the back soreness. My horse that actually gets sore across the back has hock and stifle issues.
I do use mine every ride on my cold-backed colt.  I try to tell myself it's just coincidence, but he has not bucked since I started using it (~2 months). I'm not saying if I took it off, he's split in two, but I do think it helps him warm up faster and -hopefully- eventually forget his old habits.
I also use the knee boots on my old horse with arthritic knees. Again, nothing miraculous, but I feel like he warms up faster and is not as stiff.

He's had all the works done. He's not sore anywhere and bloodwoek was even done. I'm not one I cover up a problems at all. He's young.

A guy goes to visit his grandmother and he brings his friends with him. While he`s talking to his grandmother, his friend starts eating the peanuts on the coffee table, and finishes them off. As they`re leaving, his friend says to his grandmmother, "Thanks for the peanuts."She says, "Yeah, since i lost my dentures i can only suck the chocolate off."
