I have a chance to buy a 2 yr old gelding out of a Grays Starlight mare, just wondering what people's thoughts are on them.

There are several locals running grandget of gray starlight by this fella http://davisranch-d.com/html/stallions/starlight-midnight.html#starlightmidnight  The ones out of race mares are really doing well.  The ones out of cow mares are generally in the 2-4d, but still really nice horses.

I have a six year old mare out of Grays Starlight and Blue Duck Okie, she has been hurt lately but last year at the Shootout there were only like 31 horses in the 1D in the finals and she was one of them.  She picked up on barrels in no time at all, and within two months of being patterened she was in the 2D locally.  She is one of those horses that LOVES running barrels and she is a blast to run barrels on, I just sit there and let her work.  I wish I could have more like her.  Now if only I could keep her sound, we are currently doctoring a cut!  :(

I had a grand get and man i should have kept her... Either to run on barrels or breed, she was FAST, Slide on a dime, turn like she was a noodle, and just so attentive to people
I'm going to attach some action shots, she was amazing
