Expert Posts: 3514	There are different factors that determine what to feed your horse. Age, what they do , of they have any medical issues etc. ADM and Triple Crown are both good feed companies.

Also you need to factor in the type and quality of forage and what feed will compliment that forage. Quality vs price is also a factor. Ultimately any number of different feed plans will work and work well depending on your horses and lots of other factors. It is a not a one size fits all type of deal.

Expert Posts: 1694 Location: Willows, CA	The best feed is always the best hay you can get. This is the best return on your money because it provides nutrition in a way the horses digestive system is made to work, and lessens the need for large volumes disruptive grain based feed to be added.
