They are definitely no cheaper than Walmart. I went in one last night to buy cat litter and detergent because I didn't feel like walking through the 47856 acre Walmart. I gave in to an impulse for a box of Whoppers. Got home started eating them, and they tasted like that "Dollar General smell". I threw them out. Great diet plan, LOL. |

Location: Northeast Nebraska | The dollar general here stinks because the owner is too cheap to turn on the air conditioning and won't even open the damn front door. I also hate how they rearrange the entire store about every month, just because. |

| Our's is like a 10000000000 times better than our Wal Mart. it is clean, organized, well lit, workers are fast friendly and all around a good experience when you go in. Our Wal Mart does not have half of what you need when you need it. The people are rude the self checkers are always down or will not take credit cards. I could go on for ever. |

Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR | I don't know how they are in other places, but the one here not only stinks, it's dirty and half their stuff is just piled up in the floor and on the shelves. I can't ever find what I need without digging through random crap. When Reese Witherspoon was in town filming a movie, she shopped at Dollar General insead of Fred's (we have no Wal mart no mo')...big mistake, bless her heart. |

Aside from the smell, this one is better than the Walmart near it. For starters, I don't get run over in the parking lot, it's not 48675 acres under roof, the people working there are helpful and usually it's older people in there that also don't want to go to Walmart...
If it just didn't have that "smell"..... |

Ours is/are relatively well organized. I can get t-shirts to clean stalls in for like $2 this time of year on clearance....gotta wash them first because of the "smell"....LOL! |

 Vodka for Lunch
Location: Lala Land | Ours out in BFE by our house isn't that bad, but it's only a yr old. It is kept pretty organized, but Family Dolla.... OMG that place is ghetto. It's brand new, but is so full of clutter you can't find anything. Still, they work in a pinch if I need something quick to finish dinner. |

I came home from Wal Mart today and my house smells like a dog fart. This morning when I got up, it smelled like a skunk. WTH is up with that? |
