Saddle pad Help

I ride in a treeless saddle and my mare has high withers, the chiropractor said that my mare shoulders and back are really sore and I feel that this maybe the reason she will not stretch out and run. I ride with a 3/4 inch wool pad. I want to get the best pad, but keep my saddle in place.

Ditto, treeless may not work for your horse if she is still sore with a 3/4 inch wool pad.

Best thing I ever did for my horses back was get a Back on Track saddle pad liner. His back hasn't been the least bit sore since I started using it and he is much softer to ride with it. I have one for each of my horses!
