Wow, I am in love.  I have one on order that will be here in Sept/Oct.  I came across a nice used one that fit my other horse.  I had nice saddles, or thought I did, but wow, this Caldwell feels soooo good. Can't wait for my other one to get here.

Uh oh, we have another addict!

They are the best.  I am waiting on a Rocket but won't get it till around Christmas, but it will be worth the wait.  I have a rocket but my hiney is a bit too big for it  but fits my mares perfectly.  I can't make runs in it because it throws me forward so I have been running in my TG which fits me and fits my main mare fairly well.
If you haven't posted a pic of your new(new to you) Caldwell, get to postin!  We want to see it!

I rode for the first time ever in a Caldwell a few days ago and ohmygosh! I wish i could afford one! =( I ride a Martin now and had a Mcrae before it and thought they were great but now they pale in comparison to the Caldwell. It usually takes me a minute to get used to a new saddle but I was instantly comfortable in it. I guess i'll have to start saving up.

It is the paisley design, the same saddle on have on order, a little less fancy.  I wasn't crazy about having 2 saddles with the same design but it was the right tree and seat size, only 1 year old.   Plus I didn't want to wait 7 months for a new one.

I like Caldwells too, but I bought one that was hardly used last year, and this spring I was making a run and the fender just ripped completely in half. I know of another person that has happened to, and in that case the saddle was brand new, right out of the box. He had to kick and scream to get the fenders replaced, so by the time they finally agreed, he just sent it back and got a refund. It's too bad because I love how they ride.

This is my ProMax I bought brand new about 2 years ago. I have since darkened it just a tad to my liking. STILL haven't put the conchos I want on it. But, I love way it rides and I'm in love with the tooling pattern.

This is a Rocket I bought used recently. I need to get it cleaned up. But for the price, I don't mind that it's well used.

Mine is a rocket, the one on order is an ultra rocket.   I took two of my horses to College Station  last year when they were at the Diamonds and Dirt and had them fitted.   I wasn't crazy about the horse I bought the used one for so I didn't take him.  I have since come to love running him and decided he needed a Caldwell too.  I sent them pictures to figure out the tree.  It seems to fit him well.

What is it about this saddle that you all love? When you say 'I love the ride', do you like the way you sit in it? Does this saddle 'feel' deeper than it looks? I'm intrigued!!!

Was a die hard no I'm not going to try it but when I did OMG I love mine. It just fits you like a glove from the very first time you sit in it. so comfy, deep seat holds you in better (I thought my other saddle had a deep seat) Once you try it you will love it!
