Location: Home....Smiling M Farms | Mare is 14.2 ish, awesome conformation, arena record setter, and won many open barrel and speed classes. Downside, she's 14.2 and hotter than a grenade with the pin pulled. Seriously, she's a witch, but she's got more athletic ability and heart in a 1/4 of her body than most do in their entire being. When the chips are down and you need to place, she's your go-to. Not going to let you down.
I need a baby daddy who will add size and level the baby out a bit. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. :) |

Location: Gainesville, TX | Got some solid running lines in there; you can definitely work with that, esp. as she's a proven performer.
So you need something to balance out a smaller size, probably a stud between 15.2 to 16 hh but not taller or she may have more trouble carrying.
And I assume you want something with a quieter personality.
How concerned are you with resale? And what's your budget? |

| MP Jet to the Sun! He's gorgeous in person and his babies that I've been around are almost on the lazy side, but very smart and correct. http://www.jamesranchok.com/mp-jet-to-the-sun |

Location: Texas | OK, I used to own this mare, and had several babies out of her. We are riding two. www.allbreedpedigree.com/aunt+curly
One is by a son of Johnny Boone, and one is by Sour Mash Dash. Neither are very big, even though the sires were.
These mares are quick learners and eager to please. They are also easily rattled - and I'm guessing that came from momma. The quieter of the two is by the FDD son.
Happy Shopping!

Location: Gainesville, TX | Based on your specific requirements, the following studs, as far as I know, should add some size and hopefully balance out your girls' hot streak:
Fly the Red Eye (AQHA Supreme Champion and by Mr Eye Opener)
Onthewingsofglory (Full Brother to Feature Mr Jess)
Lead the Field
Pappasito (own son of Corona Cartel and a good sized boy)
Perks Firewater Flit (I do worry just a bit about adding enough size here, but a good stud)
These are all great options but I would also personally recommend Scrutinizer. I bred him to my 14.1 hh own daughter of SB to add some size. My two year old is fairly laid back, hasn't bucked once, and should finish out at about 15 hh, a good balance. She's darn good looking too. I've got pics and video if you are interested. :) |

Location: Home....Smiling M Farms | These mares are known for crossing well on Dinkys Red man (that's where Tiny Red Woman came from) and Jet of honor, but since both of those have been dead nearly 20 years, that doesn't work. Lol
I really like Pappasito, a lot. He's on my short list but I had a friend who had a baby by him and he didn't quite amount to what we all thought he should.
Kinda like High Rate of Return too but don't know anything about his babies brains.
Would love a Tres Seis son too.. |

I definately agree with you as I am in love with mine. But I was told he wouldn't be standing to outside mares. Do you know anything about this? |

I just sent Beto a message and you are correct he will not be standing to out side mares. |
