Location: In the Hills of Texas | I've bought 4 cribbers and what worked best for me was the french collar. You do have to make it really tight. I didn't have luck with the miracle collar either. |

Location: Texas | Miracle collar won't work on a serious cribber. Neither will the nut cracker type. they can always get them sideways.
This one works. And it's cheap:

| L & w bits sells a collar made of nylon has a cheap buckle in case they ger caught. Just a plain collar that is close to what other people are talking about. Also would treat for ulcers. I accidently did slow her up big time. |

I've got a mare who is a cribber. Treating her for ulcers has slowed down her cribbing alot and I'd love to hear how one of these fly masks will help as well.

Location: Four Corners Colorado | Have you tried treating for ulcers? I treated my mare and she has slowed her cribbing down a ton. She used to stand there and do it all day long, now I'm lucky if I can actually catch her doing it any more and it's only been 30 days. |

^^^THIS.
Horses crib for a reason. It helps to narrow down the possible reasons and treat accordingly. |

Location: Desert Land | Please try treating for ulcers. I have had quite a few cribbers and ALL of them had ulcers. All but 1 I was able to "cure" their cribbing by treating their ulcers and then putting them on SeaBuck - I don't know what it is about that stuff, but it really helps their stomach and makes them look great! |

Location: Austin, Texas | I agree with the ulcer deal for sure. We have a cribber ( not horrible ) but the ulcer meds definitely help plus allowing him to basically be able to come in and out of his stall/run area. I hated making him wear one of those collars. |
