What is your favorite award you have ever received? Other than saddles, or trailers or other big ticket items. Feel free to make a list if there are several. thanks

I won a gift certificate for a free laser therapy treatment for horses. I haven't used it yet but I plan to in October! I've had laser work done on another horse I had and he felt amazing after so I was pretty excited when I won a free treatment!

Maybe I'm goofy, but since I ride what I raise I like to have something to remember them by later so buckles, trophies (nice ones), etched glass tumblers etc.

Me too.
My dad told me no matter how long you boil a buckle, you can't eat it. LOL!
But, I have to say, I do like the memories that go with awards I have won years ago.  Buckles, jackets, breast collars, headstalls.

If cash isn't an option, things I can use every day like halter and leads, buckets, brushes, jackets, blankets, etc.

The price is better the more you buy-club awards etc. AQHA often gives out things like this, at least here in WY. Sometimes they give money to buy your own awards so I always go to this company.

I love saddles, of course. Any tack really. Breastcollars, saddle pads, halters, headstalls. You can never have enough!
I also like jackets, horse blankets or sheets, haybags,  or human blankets/chairs. I have used all of these things.
Still, a buckle is something to be proud of.

Buckles - Back On Track (gift certificates) - Ice Vibes boots - Rope bags (even for barrel races) - Winter blankets - Feed bags - polo wraps - Splint boots - bell boots - gift certificates for feed store -

My suggestion: Don't do anything you don't plan on doing again. Especially if memberships are larger than the year before because of all the cool prizes from last year or previous years.

Keep them consistant or you will hear about it!

I just had some really nice etched mirrors in barn wood frames made by The Big Red Barn.  They were sweeps awards for a recent CTR.  They were a big hit and something different.

Heather was great to work with and does some neat awards.

Honestly, I think my favorite award ever...was when I was presented with a custom framed picture of a gelding I use to run back in highschool that passed away. And in the framed picture, was a buckle case...that cased my first ever buckle I won on him.

I absolutely loved it.

I just won this for a summer series I took my mare to this summer. I thought it was pretty cool. The artist used a picture from the photographer who took pics at all the races in the series.

BUCKLES!!!!!

Sorry about the enthusiasm...but I grew up riding Equitation Medals/jumpers and while I have some REALLY fancy plates, plaques, trophies, and medals...you can WEAR buckles!!! I love that! I also received a really nice engraved pocket knife and some back cinch buckles for a cowboy challenge. Those were pretty cool. Embroidered jackets are neat, too, as long as they are quality garments.
